CITY TO CITY: POLICY EQUITY FOR ALL

KAT STECHER

Katharine Stecher is a Master of Public Policy candidate at Northeastern. She has been involved with research through the Dukakis Center since the Spring of 2019, mostly focused on the Boston Summer Youth Employment Program. Her work in the School of Public Policy is what spurred her to pursue a Masters after graduating with a degree in Economics in 2022. During her undergraduate time at Northeastern she participated in the co-op program for Boston-based companies Indigo Ag and WHOOP. She also explored her areas of policy interest through international experiences at the London School of Economics and the United Nations. She hopes to utilize her graduate studies to research the impact of land use law on urban and suburban agriculture, as well as community health outcomes.
